• Invite Breathing Access to your community events

• Print educational materials to share with students and staff

• Recommend individuals to join the Breathing Access Board of Directors (even yourself!)

• Represent Breathing Access at community events

• Submit proposals to local and state foundations requesting funding support for Breathing Access

• Suggest to your child’s school that Breathing Access be invited to provide programs

• Work in the schools as a volunteer for Breathing Access

The impact of our work increases exponentially when we can have long-term relationships with participants – three years is an ideal timeframe for most situations.


Corporate sponsors are needed to adopt schools across the district and beyond. In Winston-Salem/Forsyth County schools alone, there are 45 schools that have requested programs and are in need of funding to cover costs.

Studies from Harvard University show that yoga can improve focus, memory, self-esteem, academic performance, and classroom behavior. Yoga also reduces anxiety and stress in children, which enhances team building and decreases bullying behavior
